Energizing face mask
I have to be honest and say I don’t do much in the beauty routine department. I have ALWAYS been the “Come as you are girl” or “All Natural”. I never wore makeup, bought industry leading products, had a night face routine or anything special. I wash my face with cold water in the am, and hot water in the evening. No soaps on my face; just Witch Hazel if I’m dirty. However the older I get my skin gets even more sensitive and sometimes she just wants some special attention. So I set out to create a yummy face mask at hone for no money at all. This mask is super easy to create, and if you get hungry you can eat if off your face too. No seriously you can make it with everything you already have at home and enjoy a cup of joe while you pamper yourself.
After making my morning cup I’ll scoop out the coffee grinds needed and create just enough for myself and maybe one other treatment. You can store this mask in the fridge for 1 week.
Did you know: Turmeric is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and vitamin C. This helps to remove dullness from the skin and lightens the dark spots while yogurt with the alpha-hydroxy acids reduces the oil from the face and nourishes it.
Ingredients
2 tbsp Coffee (used)
1 tbsp Turmeric
1 tbsp Yogurt or small Avocado
1/4 tsp Coconut Oil (Hard)
Stir well to make a lump-free mixture.
Apply the paste evenly across your face and leave it for 20 minutes.
To remove the paste, massage gently in a circular motion and wash with warm water for a brighter skin tone.
